We are always down for an adventure, so when Katti told us that the location that she had in mind was a pretty good hike we couldn't wait to go. It so easy to fall into the routine of staying inside for cold weather but there are so many truely magical things that happen in the woods this time of year that cannot be missed.
We are so blessed to live where we do and to have the opportunity to tell the story of such beautiful, adventurous couples like these two. Katti and Preston live in Sylva, NC and hike in Pinnacle Park every chance they get. On the day that we set off to Black Rock the wind was howling and the low was in the 20's but that just made reaching the snowy summit even more surreal and the chilly hike back with headlamps under a blanket of stars. Thank you two for a great adventure!!
