When we first realized that Hurricane Nate was headed for WNC we contacted Miranda and Kerry to see if they still wanted to head up from Greensboro for their session with such a high prediction for rain, to our excitement they were willing to take the chance. For most October engagement sessions bring to mind clear blue skies and colorful foliage, for us we love October because it's ever changing.
The changing of the seasons can bring turbulent weather to the mountains; rain, fog, and heavy winds are not unusual and for us it brings unique light quality and a deeper feeling. This somewhat ominous landscape was illuminated by the energy that Miranda and Kerry share, which is absolutely undeniable.
Thank you two so much for taking the chance. We cannot wait for your wedding next year.
